Planets Mini are a scaled-down version of our successful Planets collection, designed to bring refined lighting to spaces where the original couldn’t fit — lower ceilings, intimate rooms, smaller interiors.

What makes them truly unique? The signature system of counterweights and pulleys, carried over in full. Adjust the height of each light effortlessly along the vertical axis, and compose freely — from a single pendant to a striking arrangement of up to twelve lights.

The Planets collection offers versatile interior lighting solutions, with configurations ranging from a single fixture to installations of up to twelve lights. Its design allows for varied spatial arrangements based on a simple physical principle.

A system of weights and pulleys enables efficient height adjustment, supporting multiple configurations. These can function as individual light sources or as grouped combinations of three shapes to illuminate larger areas.

Set in the flow of Piazza San Babila, the installation became part of the city’s everyday life—interactions, pauses, quiet moments, and passing glances. Light that doesn’t just illuminate the square, but gently reshapes how you move through it, inviting people to slow down and notice what is usually overlooked in the rush of the city.

How BEACON Was Created.
Explore the making of BEACON and the collaboration behind this unique installation.
BEACON, the light installation soon to be showcased at Milan Design Week 2026, was originally designed by British designer Lee Broom for the London Design Festival 2025. Its full production and realisation were carried out by BROKIS, from technical development and glassmaking to metal structures and on site installation.
Lee Broom personally took part in the making of the recycled BROKISGLASS components and followed the process from the first fragments of glass to the final structure.
